I have a 98 Chevy suburban 4x4. When I drive it down the road the steering wheel jerks right and left mostly to the right especially when I turning right any ideal what this could be. I had 500 dollars worth of work done on the front end thinking this would fix the problem but I still have the problem. The repair shop does not know what it could be.

Hi:
If everything is tight on the front, the only thing I can think if is there is a bad steering box selector valve. I had a Tahoe and everything was normal going around a bend, then suddenly the steering would jerk like I just hit ice (but I didn't).

Here is a video of the box replacement

Let me know what you find.

Joe

"Thanks Joe"
I ask the repair shop guy, he kind of new what it was but I don't think he really did know how to fix it and if I had let him fix it he probably would of charge me a arm and a leg. I didn't want him experimenting on my truck so to speak.
I wonder if I can unplug that sensor? And if I can how can I unplug it and where is it located at. THANKS
