1998 Chevy Suburban Part Identification

Sounds like the vacuum canister area to me. If it's a plastic can looking thinger with a hose or 2 that should be coming from the top of it, then that's what it is. If it's damaged you'll be best off getting one from a used parts yard, or as I like to whisper junkyard. The same can and hoses will fit several vehicles, like a pickup with the same basic engine and accessories. Luck to ya...
