My friend was heading to work today. He took off from a stop and heard a loud bang in the rearof the Suburban. He then stated that the vehical was shaking and shimmying very bad below 20 mph. I had him stop to check the driveshaft. He said that there was not play in it. He later called me and said that when he went toput it in reverse that there was more banging in the rear of the vehical. Any ideas to what this may be. I hate to see him get hurt driving if an axle is broken or something. Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

I would get this inspected ASAP as it may be a seized uni or a diff that is about to fail.
