1997 Chevy Suburban Stabilizer Bar link

The right side stabilizer bar link is broken and i can't get the new one in. what is the best way to put the new link in?

these are a pain in the butt. i find the bolt is usually too short(is that your problem. you can try using a jack on the bottom side of the bolt and force it up to compress the rubber and that should give you enough clearance to get the nut on. they offer a regular sway bar link and a heavy duty one, i find the regular one fits alot nicer.
