1997 Chevy Suburban head lights

My runing lights come on but my head lights won't, i've checked fuses and dash switch is good but can't get them to turn on

Welcome to the forum, all I can do is track the voltage circuit. Yellow wire carries voltage from the headlamp switch to dimmer switch. From the dimmer, tan wire is voltage for low beam, lite green wire is voltage for high beam. There is probably a multiwire connector, lower part of steering column where you can access the wires. You may have to remove lower part of dash?
