1997 Suburban.
My Suburban has become hard to shift from park. It is not all the time, but more times than not. It will eventually go, but not after turning the steering wheel back and forth, jiggling the shifter and working the brake. I'm not sure which one is the magic trick.
The truck runs and shifts fine, the shifter just gets hung up in park.
Any idea???

Hi toddcambre and welcome to 2carpros Have your shift interlock system checked out-could be a problem with the brake switch and shiftlock solenoid
