I KNOW ON MOST VEHICLES FUEL PUMPS RUN FOR A BIT AND THEN SHUTS OF, I REPLACED MY PUMP 1 YEAR AGO AND IT NEVER SHUTS DOWN. IS THIS NORMAL FOR THIS VEHICLE? ALSO IT IS RECENTLY NOT WANTING TO START RIGHT AWAY INTHE MORNING, IT IS CRANKING GOOD BUT JUST DOES'NT WANT TO FIRE UP LIKE IT USED TO. THEN IT IT SPITTER AND SPUDDER, THEN KERCHOW. TAKE OFF! IS THIS AN INJECTOR, CRANK SHAFT SENSOR, FUEL PREESSURE REGULATOR OR WHAT. PLEASE HELP.

I would say no to the sensor, unless the check engine light is on. As far as the fuel system, have you had the chance to check fuel pump pressure and the regulator itself? That is where I would start if the light isn't on.

Here is a how to for checking pressure / regulator:

Start there and let me know what you find. Also, has the vehicle been tuned up lately? Fuel filter?
