How do I take a heater hose connecter that has broken in side the threaded area on the top of my engine block.I tried usiing the tap tool but it seems to have gotten wrose but threaded part is still in there. The old part broke off without hardly any pressure applied to it. It also looks like that threaed pice has melted on there. What should I do now?

Hi there,

You will have to use a non expanding type stud extractor, these cut in to the fitting and grip, rather than expanding and making the fitting tighter and harder to remove.
