My Suburban brakes lock up when braking hard. The abs light comes on at times or stays on for awhile. I've had a mechanic check it out, he say's the Abs module and hydralic unit has failed. I have noticed some pins coming out some fittings under the unit. Do u think there may be something wrong with the unit? If so, what would it take to replace the abs assembly? Would special tools be required for replacement? Or should I just have a Dealer or qualified shop take care of it? I would appreciate it, thanks.
