1997 Chevy Suburban V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

trans went out and was wondering if I can use the same trans out of a 1998. My friend has a wrecked truck and the trans is still good. But not sure if it is compatible with a 1997.

If you have the 4L80 tranny on the 97 2WD the 98 has the 4L80 for a 2WD it will work according to the info I have.
