My Truck threw a code the other day. I want to fix this problem myself, it feels like it cant downshift correctly. I was wondering if I could find out exactly where the Shift Solenoid A is located.

f you remove the trans pan and filter you will see smakk wires running to the solenoids. I believe solenoid A is responsible for the 1 2 shift. It will be the light green wire. The 2 3 shift will be a yellow and black wire.

Let me know if you have other questions.
