Air Conditioning problem
1996 Chevy Suburban V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 175k miles

Could someone explain to me how to replace the compressor on my Suburban. Most of it seems fairly simple but I dont know how to drain the freon.
Is there more to it than the serpentine belt, the four bolts and the freon?

Hello,

It is that simple, except for needing to have the system evacuated(remove freon), and you will need a shop to do that.
