The brake lights on my dad's 95 suburban don't work so I was wondering if there were any quick checks to determine what the problem could be, other than the obvious ones, (i.e. check bulbs, fuse, etc)? Any help is appreciated.

well, you should check the brake on off switch first and for cut wires.
