1994 Chevy Suburban oil burning

I have a 94 suburban it burns about a quart of oil every 1000 miles or so.I know I need to change some gaskets but dont know what ones.

Since you say burns and not leaks the problem is internal. Valve seals&worn guides for sure,the oil is sucked past the valve on intake and burned in cylinder often time unnoticed. Do you get a little puff of blue/gray on start up,this is guides.
And then there is the rings but here I would expect more oil consumption and you telling me your fogging while driving.
The saying goes around the shop if a Chevy don't burn oil there is something wrong with it.
