My truck failed the fuel evaporative controls functional portion of the functional check smog test. What could it be? And how much am I looking at in repairs? Thanks.

Without more information it will be difficult to be accurate. The evaporative failure might be something as simple as a cracked vacuum hose or a faulty gas cap. Were you at a test only station? Do you know a good, trustworthy mechanic?
