The battery is not being charged. I replaced the alternator with a rebuilt, had it bench tested. Installed a new battery, I had it tested as well. The battery voltage meter was going past the normal reading and the alternator was making noise that was the reason for the change.

Check the rust colored fuse link at the battery, and the gauges fuse.
