Transmission is bad, looking for a rough figure how much it will cost to replace with used or rebuilt.

GM sells what they call a SRTA [service replacement transmission assembly]. It has all the updates plus a good warranty, even if installed by someone other than a dealer. Check with a dealership for pricing but the last time I got one it was $1800.00 plus installation.
