Radiator fluid on ground underneath the radiator. I get a whistle/whir/tick sound when engine is running. Vehicle overheats quickly when driving; especially in town. Any ideas?

Chances are the water pump is bad and leaking. On the bottom of the pump, there is a weep hole (about 1/4 inch) Check there for signs of a leak. My guess is the bearing in the pump is bad and that is what you are hearing and the leak is from the pump.

Let me know what you find.
