My rear power tailgate window was smashed and then replaced. When I got the truck back, the tailgate power window would not open or close with the key from outside the truck. The window works fine from the toggle switch inside the truck, just not with door key. BTW: the key does turnn full left and full right while in the tailgate window acutator, but nothing happens to the window. Any suggestions?

Hello -
Thanks for the info..... Lets go with R1500
Please check fuse 13 with an ohm meter to make sure it is good.
You will need to remove the rear panel and check to see if any rod or plug is disconnected. I am sorry as there doesn't seem to be any diagram for this in the manual.

Hello -
Also, it looks like you may have some recalls on your vehicle. The dealer may fix these for free. Please contact the dealer service department, give them the VIN number of your car and have them check on these to see if they apply to you.
