1986 Chevy Suburban it wont fire, no spark to plugs

How long since a tune-up? Is coil in the cap? If so, use a testlite at the cap tach terminal. Engine cranking the lite should pulse. Also check primary voltage to cap, pink wire, goes hot when you turn on the key. There are other possibilities, but, that will get you started.
