93 chevy truck silveroter 5.7 auto trans, at times it registers ok for a while then goes to zero then jumps back and forth goes to 55 60 or 0 then stops working all todather also milage dont redister either. When u stop cut off when u start back up its ok foe while then starts all over again. Please help I am 67 I dont wont a speeding ticket. Cant aford go to dealer thanks joe

Sound like a bad speed sensor. It should be located on the transmission. If not it'll be on the differential housing

Tried senser didnt help. Took out inst pannel and didnt put all way back in it work ok but when u push all way in it wont work pull out on top just a little it works good. What might I do looks like all termals are clean just seems like its not making contack. When I put trim back around it quit working. Help thanks joe
