Just recently, my vehicle, 200 Silverado, Crew, HD 2500 Duramax Diesel, with the Allison Transmission acted as if the transmission had went out. Once diagnosed at the dealer, they stated that it is the PRNDL switch. (Park, Reverse, Neutral). I am assuming that is what it stands for. However, with this needing to be replaced, my extended warranty doesnt have this exact part listed and wont cover this even though my truck won't run without this.
Is it possible, this PRNDL switch is universally called something else that may be listed under my extended warranty, under the transmission or electrical? Thanks so much!

You really needx to read the warranty good, there are sood luck
jimo many possible configurations, its almost impossible to tell, but what I can tell you is if they cover any electronic component it should be covered especially since it is an external component, I would call and ask the company exactly what they cover
