Lately I've been hearing a "growling" noise coming from the driver side front. I've asked around and what I'm hearing is the ball joint/wheel bearings ..does anyone have a suggestion as to what this might be. 2001 2wd 4.3 silverado approx 84000km's

check the front end , wheel bearings and ball joints , ball joints wont growl , but they need to be checked anyway , jack that thing up in the front and give the wheels a spin by hand and see what you hear , it could also be in the front diff but start simple

and be careful
