I have a 99 silverado 5.3 l v8. 153, 00 miles. When approaching an incline the motor starts spitting and sputtering. If I let off the accelerator it smoothes out or if I stomp on the pedal it pops a little then clears out. It seems to do this mostly in the 1800 to 2000 rpm range once getting above 2000 it clears out. Ive changed the plugs, wires and fuel filter and it has no codes on it. Thanks and any help would be greatly appreciated.

This sounds like another sticking exaust valve. This is a simple test to determine this. The next time the engine is in this condition; Drap an old rag or teeshirt over the tail pipe so the exaust filters through. Notice how it's blowing out? Well, if at any time it sucks into the tail pipe, you have a sticking exaust valve.
