2008 Chevy Silverado weird exhaust system noise?

Noises problem
2008 Chevy Silverado V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

After going off-road with the work truck when accelerating the exhaust system sounds really loud...also while idle still sounds loud...sounds like muffler issues, but no physical dammage. Any ideas?

Check to see where, in the exaust system , the noise is coming from. You may have seperated a joint in the exhaust or punctured the muffler..

I have had a close look, nothing appears to be damaged. It sounds like it is coming from right underneath the drivers seat.

That is where a joint exists in your exhaust system. You could have stressed this joint when you were off road. There are 3 bolts and 3 springs that hold this joint together -- look there for any problem.
