2008 Chevy Silverado Transfer case shifter knob

I just bought a 2008 chevy silverado and i would like to put an after market shifter knob on my transfer case...i have tried just turning it out like the older model silverados, but it won't turn out.... i have checked for a set screw but i didn't find one......im sure it has to be removeable???? What can i do??

Transfer Case Control Lever Knob

Procedure
Using an adjustable wrench, adjust the wrench to fit the control lever rod just below the knob.
With the adjustable wrench touching the control lever knob, gently tap on the adjustable wrench in an upward motion until the knob is separated from the control lever rod.
