2008 Chevy Silverado 2008 silverado door wont open from out

I replaced the stock black door handles on my 2008 silverado crew cab with chrome aftermarket handles. after replacing the handle and bolting it back in I closed the door and now it will not open from the outside or inside. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

Pull the door panel back off and check the linkage rods and connectors. A connector may have broke in the process.
