2007 Chevy Silverado How do I remove the spark plugs?

How do I remove the spark plugs closest to the firewall? i can't seem to get a hand in there to take it out. Is there an alternate path to get to the back sparkplugs (i.e. take off the tire and go in from the side of the wheel well etc.?)?
