2007 Chevy Silverado changing size of tires

My truck has the 4-8 cylinder engine and I want to know if I put on a bigger tires will it screw anything up? the tires will be 1.1" taller.

Yes it will screw up timming , fuel delivery speed control, cruse control etc. If you want bigger you must maintain the OEM circumfirance. Most tire shops can figure this out. Or find an enginer that can recofigure PCM
