2006 Chevy Silverado P0401 DTC

2006 CHEVROLET SILVERADO

I get this error code quite often. I can cure it by tightening the fuel cap and have replaced the fuel cap. I still get the code occasionally, however. Could there be something other than the fuel cap.

The engine is a duramax.

Code P0401 has nothing to do with the gas cap or evap system.It's a egr code for not enough flow for the egr.
