2006 Chevy Silverado Headlights

The headlights will not turn on. The highbeams and all other lights are working fine. I checked fuses i think it might be a switch. How could i determine if the switch is the problem. I tried switching the relays and they still didnt work.

The low beams and high beams both run through the switch. Its unlikely that it is the switch since the high beams work. I would try swapping the relays from high beam to low beam.

i tried switching them and headlights still won't come on high beams did work so its not relay any other suggestions?

Have you checked voltage at low beam side of socket. If there isnt any voltage you may need to get ahold of a scanner to see if the body control module is sending input to circuit.

Test the headlamp dimmer switch circuit for a short to ground. Dimmer switches are prone to failure on these.
