2006 Chevy Silverado fuel tank- gasoline

put 5 gallons of diesel fuel in our gas tank we did not run the engine, need to know how to drain the tank with out removing the tank, is there any thing we have to do once tank is drained?

Dropping the fuel tank would be best. You can remove the fuel line and pump the diesel fuel out with the trucks in tank fuel pump. A tiny bit left would get quite diluted when you put gas back in the tank. The filler tubes are blocked these days to prevent siphoning and back splashing so you won't be able to siphon the fuel out through the filler neck.
