2006 Chevy Silverado front shimmy

When braking on a desending grade (6% +or-) the front end shimmies or wobbles when applying the brakes. Also I can feel a metal tap in the steering column when making a turn. Thank you C. Belding

sounds like you could have worped rotors or the feeling could be coming from the back which is worped drums
