2006 Chevy Silverado fan speed switch

my heater fan works in positions 1-4 but does not work in position 5

Sounds like faulty blower motor resistor. Test resistor to see if power is there when 5 is selected. If power is not there , replace resistor. If power is there, test control switch for power when 5 is selected. If power is not there, replace switch.
