blower would not run. fuses are good, pulled the motor, hooked it up to 12v and it spins. resistor was burnt at black "E" terminal. new resistor works, but got verry hot after a minute.(almost burnt the new one) didn't have time to pull the bezel today, but i think it might have a bad switch. am i on the right track?

check blower motor relay if it's OK then suspect bad control switch, yes.
