My blower fan stopped working

My blower fan stopped working, what do I look for?

Hello,

The first item you should check is the blower motor relay.
The relay is located in the under-hood fuse box (see diagram below).
Look for any corrosion or burnt pins.

This relay can also be tested.

If the relay is good, it could be a bad blower control module (for automatic HVAC system), or a bad motor. It can also be faulty wiring. Check to see if you have power going to the motor. A short in the wiring can keep power from reaching the motor.
