2005 Chevy Silverado slight ticking sound under the hood ov

The sound occurs when in 2 wheel high. If auto 4 wheel or 4 wheel high is pressed, the sound stops.

Have the hub checked to make sure it is disengaging. It sounds like it could need cleaned and lubericated.
