need fuel pressure setting for 2005 silverado crew cab 5.3 liter vortec. sometimes truck does not want to start and sometimes it does. i have a feeling the fuel pump is going out and need to test pressure when car does not start any help will be appreciated.

Here is a how to video for testing fuel pressure. You will need a pressure gauge, but most parts stores will lend or rent the tool to you.

Let me know what you find. If fuel pressure is good when you check it and it still doesn't start, check for spark.
