2 things: First, as soon as a parts store gets an EVAP code, they tell you to replace the fuel cap. With that, 90% of the time, the cap isn't the problem. What I need you to do is this. Have AZ reset the light on the computer. After they reset it, let me know if it comes back on with the same code.
I will need to know the code number to determine the problem. Chances are there is a leak in the filler tube (rust) of the vehicle or at some other point.
If the light does come back on, I will explaine what to do next.
