The Code that Autozone gave me was that the Fuel Cap was not on properly. It was an after market fuel cap that came with the truck from the dealer. I went and bought a new one from the dealer and it ahs been 100 miles since I put the new on. The light is still on.

2 things: First, as soon as a parts store gets an EVAP code, they tell you to replace the fuel cap. With that, 90% of the time, the cap isn't the problem. What I need you to do is this. Have AZ reset the light on the computer. After they reset it, let me know if it comes back on with the same code.

I will need to know the code number to determine the problem. Chances are there is a leak in the filler tube (rust) of the vehicle or at some other point.

If the light does come back on, I will explaine what to do next.
