2005 Chevy Silverado Check Engine light

My check engine light came on after I filled up with fuel at a different station. WIll it go out when the fuel gets low and I re fill the tank?

First, make sure the fuel cap is on tight. If it is, take the car to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for codes. If the code is an EVAP system code, they will try to sell you a new gas cap. Don't get it until you tell me the code. About 99% of the time there is nothing wrong with the cap.

I did what you said reset the light and it ewnt out for a few days and came back on with these error codes

P0131 Oxygen Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

P0171 System too Lean (Bank 1)

P1133 Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) insufficient switching bank 1 sensor 1(Rear Bank)

P1131 HO2S 11 Indicates Lean
