a/c running perfectly,instantly begins MAX blowing HOT air and compressor remains in operation.
shutting off engine and restarting most times reverts to cooling.

Hi
It is best to have it scanned for codes and recalibrate actuators. This will save time and money on most likely swaping parts to see if it remedies problem.
