when I turn my ac on sometimes it will start blowing hot on the drivers side but stay cool on the passenger side. I can restart my truck and it will blow cool on drivers side for a while then back to hot again the passenger side has never blowen hot.

dual climate control i assume? sounds like the side that is giving you trouble has the temperature blend acuator going bad, the reason it will blow cold after you restart the vehicle is the system goes through a system check and performs a complete sweep at initial power up,
