I just had the transmission fluid changed by the dealer. The pickup, including the transmission was running fine. Now after changing the transmission fluid I have a problem.

When driving at 45 to 60 mph the transmissionfeels tht it shifts or is trying to shift between 3rd and drive, i.e. I feel a "bump". If I very carefullly hold at a constant speed, around 53 mph it rapidly shifts back and forth creating a significant vibration. This wil continue until I change speed.

First off, take it back! They need to make it right. There are some wires in there around the filter that control shift solenoids. Perhaps the technician had trouble getting the old filter off so he got a pry bar or screwdriver to pry it off. Maybe he pinched a wire or unplugged a solenoid. Simple mistake! I'm sure he didn't mean to. In fact, I've done the very same thing. I can't recall exactly what problem it created but the customer came back quickly. I removed the pan and discovered what I had done. Just like I said, I had pinched a wire in two with my pry bar because the filter was being hard headed! Take it back and tell them to look at that...
