2004 Chevy Silverado windsheild wipers

when i turn my wipers on they work fine all speeds are working, but when i turn the switch to off, the wipers will not stop. they continue going at the slow speed. can you please help me??

Chances are the multi purpose switch on the column is bad and allowing power to run. You need to check to see if power is being sent by the switch when it is in the off position. If so, replace the switch.
