2004 Chevy Silverado will not go into 3rd or overdrive

my tranny shifts fine until i get to 3rd then it seems to slip it runs thru all other gears without a problem and seems to shift just fine.

Time to have the trans rebuilt.I would have it done before you cause any more internal damage.
