2004 Chevy Silverado Slight noise simular to wheel bearing?

When do the front hubs need to be serviced. When you disenguage the front drive it seem, s to still have the hubs locked in and the cv joints are turning all the time. How do you disenguage front hubs.

If the front wheels spin, the cv axles will spin also. They are splined to the hubs.

The front hubs can't be serviced. The front diff fluid should be changed every 50k. The transfer case fluid should be changed every 50k.
