2004 Chevy Silverado RPM Gauge

Been experiencing issues with the gauge not responding to the engine speed. Specifically during extreme cold weather (30 degree's or below).

The gauge moves when the engine starts but does not compensate for engine speeds, etc

No. Engine idles and runs fine like it always has. Other Gauges appear in their normal positions.

Based on your description and the fact that the engine is running good, I would say it is the tack itself.
