On start up the oil filter seal is blown and oil leaks from filter I noticed recently that my oil pressure reading was higher than normal and I had a tapping in the upper end of the engine for a few minutes until the oil warmed up, I just contributed it to very cold temperature but the other morning on start up it blew the filter. I cleaned up and reinstalled anew filter and it did it again what do you think and how to fix. Also this is a rebuilt motor which has about 5000 miles on it.

I would not panic. I would double check the y pipe flanges. They usually wear and causes an exhaust leak that is usually misconstrued as a lifter noise. If you look at the y pipe flange you will probably see a little black soot. This will verify its an exhaust leak. Check this out before you go after bad lifters.

1994 v6 chevy c 1500 oil pressure reads 70 psi while in gear or traveling 60 mph either cold or maximum operating temperature (180 deg.) At idle it reads about 50 psi cold or hot. The oil and filter were changed but, the same pressures appeared before the oil and filter were change. Also, I see no oil where the oil goes in the engine. I am thinking the oil pump is bad.

The oil pump pressure relief valve is the one that maintains the pressure

I see no oil in the engine

Check your oil level:

The guage for the oil pressure in my truck is really high it is past 80psi and seems like it is getting higher.
I was just wondering if this something that I need to get looked at right away and if it is something that will cost alot to get fixed?

HI there, first thing to do is check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge, and if the pressure is high, report the readings and I will advise on what to do, this just may be a faulty sender, but do the test first.
