2004 Chevy Silverado grinding noise

For some reason I get a grinding noise fron the front end only when im turning, I suspect it the be the hub assembly but would that be the symtoms of a bad hub assembly?

could either be the bearing assembly or a bad cv joint.

jack up vehicle and feel for looseness of the wheel, if play is noted bearing shoudl be replaced.
