at first the air conditioner stopped blowing air, and at tiimes it is blows hot. now at times the speedometer and gas gauge runs sporatically. is there a possible short in the system? Where do i look first?

Hi robbilly,

It should not be a short, but rather a bad connection and the various problems might not be related.

AC blower if not working, check for power supply to motor and test if motor is working. Turn AC on and knock motor housing to see if blower motor stars up. If it does, the motor is bad.

Speedometer and gas gauge should share the same power source, could be due to the connector behind the meter is loose.

Check for any loose fuse with bad contacts in the fuse boxes.
